Saturday’s Powerball Jackpot Hits $510 Million

The Powerball jackpot for the Saturday August 19th drawing has risen to an estimated $510 million, with a cash option of $324.2 million, following 19 rollovers. It is currently the fifth biggest Powerball jackpot in the history of the multi-state lottery game.

The numbers for Wednesday August 16th were 9, 15, 43, 60, 64, and Powerball 4. Although no one matched all five numbers and the Powerball, there were a total of 2,621,664 prize winners and two Match 5 tickets worth $1 million each were sold Florida and California. A player from Texas matched five main numbers with Power Play and is now $2 million richer. You can view the prize breakdown by visiting the latest Powerball Numbers page.

Saturday’s drawing will be the first time the jackpot has topped half a billion dollars since three players shared $1.58 billion in January 2016. If you were to win the full amount this weekend, you would be richer than the New Hampshire ticket holder who claimed $487 million on July 30th last year. The prize also eclipses the $488.3 million shared by a Minnesota player and two New Jersey ticket holders in August 2013. Take a look at the details of more big Powerball winners by heading on over to the Winners page.

If you match all five main numbers and the Powerball this weekend, you will have the option to take the cash lump sum of $324.2 million before withholdings or to accept the full value of the jackpot over 29 years.

If you would like to try your luck in the next Powerball drawing, tickets are available from any authorized retailers in participating states or you can pick your numbers online. Good luck!
