Saturday’s Powerball Jackpot Hits $106 Million

The Powerball jackpot for the Saturday July 1st drawing has risen to an estimated $106 million with a cash option of $67.7 million after 5 rollovers.

The jackpot has not been won since June 10th, when a Powerball player from California won a prize of $447.8 million, having purchased a ticket at Marietta Liquor and Deli store in Menifee. The lucky winner has yet to contact lottery officials to claim their prize, which is the tenth largest lottery prize in U.S. history. You can view the biggest wins to date and check how many winners each state has produced on the Powerball Winners page. No one has managed to match all five main numbers plus the Powerball since this drawing.

In last Saturday’s drawing, there were no jackpot winners. However, two Powerball tickets worth $1 million were sold in Pennsylvania and Texas. In total, there were 549,217 prize winners on the night. Take a look at the prize breakdowns for the most recent drawings by heading over to the Powerball Numbers page.

Tickets for this Saturday can be bought from an authorized retailer or players can opt to choose their numbers online. If the jackpot is won, the winning ticket holder can decide to have the full $106 million prize paid in 30 annual instalments, or take a one-off cash sum of $67.7 million.
