California Man Receives $447.8 Million Powerball Jackpot

The Powerball jackpot stands at an estimated $205 Million for the Saturday July 22 drawing after 11 rollovers.

No one has won the top prize since June 10th, when a lucky player from California hit a jackpot worth $447.8 million. The winner, Jeff Lindsay, this week came forward to claim his prize, telling lottery officials exactly what it meant to his family: “We are obviously thrilled with this tremendous stroke of good luck and are still getting our arms around what it means for us”.

Lindsay bought his ticket at Marietta Liquor and Deli in Menifee. The $447.8 million jackpot is the seventh largest Powerball prize to be won by a ticket holder and you can view the biggest Powerball Winners in the history of the game, by visiting the dedicated page.

There were a total of 639,935 prize winners in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing. However, no players managed to match the five numbers and the Powerball, which has resulted in the jackpot rollover. The winning numbers for Wednesday were 50, 51, 59, 61, 63 with Powerball 4. You can view the latest prize breakdown alongside winner information at the Numbers page.

If you would like to try your luck, tickets for this Saturday’s drawing can be bought from an authorized retailer in participating states or players can pick their numbers online. The winning numbers will be available after the draw on the Latest Numbers section. Good luck!
