USA Powerball Prizes
Although players must match 5 out of 5 numbers plus the Powerball to win the jackpot, there are a further eight prize tiers on offer to players who can match from one number or just the Powerball. Players in some states can also opt to purchase a Power Play number for an additional fee, which will see their wins substantially increased should they match any numbers required to claim secondary prizes.
The prizes on offer in each prize tier are set prizes, with the exception of the jackpot which is pari-mutuel (meaning it is made up of a percentage of the prize fund).

The overall odds of winning a prize on the USA Powerball is 31.85.
These prizes can change considerably if you choose to purchase the Power Play alongside the Powerball. Although the jackpot will remain the same, prizes in the other tiers will be doubled, tripled or even quadrupled, meaning you could win an even bigger prize than you ever anticipated!
