Powerball Jackpot Rolls Over to $275 Million for Saturday’s Draw

Powerball fans in the US will be hoping they land the huge $275 million jackpot this Saturday and become the fourth jackpot winner of the year. The top prize reached this incredible total after it rolled over for a fifteenth time in the draw on Wednesday May 24th.

Wednesday’s winning numbers were 28, 32, 33, 38, 62, with Powerball 15 and a 2x Power Play multiplier. Although no one matched every number to take home the $249.1 million jackpot, one lucky player in New York pocketed $1 million after matching five numbers without the Powerball. There were 938,901 winners across America that night, sharing a combined $6.9 million.

A lottery player from Indiana was the first Powerball jackpot winner this year on February 22nd, with $435.3 million their reward. They requested anonymity, although it was revealed they’re a Purdue University graduate, working at a Lafayette manufacturing plant. Following that brilliant win, a lucky player in Wisconsin hit the $156.2 million top prize on March 22nd. A winner from Arizona then claimed the $60 million jackpot on April 1st, opting for the $36.4 million cash prize and anonymity. The winning ticket was bought at the Scenic General Store, 2960 Scenic Blvd, Littlefield and it was the first time Arizona had seen a Powerball jackpot winner since 2015.

Saturday’s draw currently has the biggest jackpot of any lottery worldwide, and you could get your hands on the cash this weekend if you pick your numbers online. Good luck!
