Powerball Jackpot Rises to $403 Million

The Powerball jackpot for the February 22nd drawing has risen to an estimated $403 million with a cash option of $243.9 million after 18 rollovers.

The jackpot amount has not been this huge since the November 26th 2016 drawing, when it reached $420.9 million and was won by a group of 20 co-workers from Tennessee, who matched all six Powerball numbers.

A couple from Pennsylvania won the last Powerball jackpot, on December 17th 2016, with a ticket bought in Selbyville, Delaware. No one has managed to match all five main numbers plus the Powerball since this drawing.

Although, there were no jackpot winners in last Saturday’s drawing, there were six Match 5 winners from Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas, each winning $1 million. There were also three Match 5 winning Power Play ticket holders from Rhode Island, Texas and Pennsylvania, who banked $2 million.  If you haven’t already, check the prize breakdown to see if you’re a winner.

The winning numbers for Saturday 18th in drawn order were – 9, 3, 33, 07, 31 and Powerball 20.

Tickets for Wednesday night’s drawing can be bought from an authorized retailer or you can also play online. If anyone wins the jackpot, they can choose to have the full $403 Million prize paid in 30 annual instalments, or take a one-off cash sum of $243.9 Million.

Good luck!
